How long it takes, American or British, what you commit to, and whether this is genuinely right for you — the honest answers before you apply.
How long does it take?
You’ll usually hear the difference early. Making it automatic — the new sounds holding up when you’re tired or nervous — is what the full six months is for.
Will I lose my accent entirely?
No, and that isn’t the goal. The aim is clarity, not erasure. You keep your identity; we remove the specific sounds that make listeners work harder than they should.
American or British?
Either — usually General American or standard British, depending on where you work and who you speak to. We decide together on the discovery call and train towards the one that fits your life.
How much daily practice is required?
10–15 focused minutes a day beats an hour once a week. The portal is built around exactly that — short drills, recorded, reviewed at your next session.
What does it cost?
The six-month one-to-one programme is $9,999. The discovery call that comes first is free, takes 15 minutes, and carries no obligation — it exists so we can both decide whether the programme is the right fit before anyone commits.
What do I have to commit to?
Six months, one live session a week, and 10–15 minutes of focused practice every day in your portal. The daily practice is non-negotiable — it’s what moves the sounds from something you can produce in a session to something that holds up under pressure. If you can’t give it that, this isn’t the right programme and I’ll say so on the call.
Is this speech therapy?
No. Accent coaching is training for clear communication, not a clinical service. If something suggests an underlying speech or hearing issue, I’ll say so and point you towards a speech-language therapist instead.
Do I need any special equipment?
A laptop or phone with a working microphone, and headphones. Headphones matter more than people expect — you can’t correct a sound you can’t clearly hear.
What actually happens in a session?
We listen back to what you recorded that week, isolate the sounds that trip your listeners, and drill them in real sentences from your own working life — your meetings, your calls, your presentations. You leave with specific things to practise, not general advice.
Does my level of English matter?
This is pronunciation work, not grammar or vocabulary. It works best from intermediate level upward, where the words are already there and the sounds are what stand between you and being understood.
Can I fit this around a full-time job?
That’s who it’s designed for. One live session a week plus 10–15 minutes of daily practice. The portal exists precisely so the practice fits into gaps rather than needing a block of free evening.
How will I know it’s working?
Every practice recording is kept, so you can play your first week against your current one. That comparison is usually more convincing than anything I could tell you.
